In the Break Room, Glenn asks for two volunteers and Mateo immediately raises his hand. Jonah reluctantly volunteers and Glenn announces that they will run a dog adoption center which evokes jealousy from everyone. Jonah says he'll switch as he thinks people spend too much money on pets. Glenn asks for another volunteer and many staff raise their hand. He picks Sandra to get rid of hornet's nests. In the store Bo and Cheyenne are fighting so bad that customers stop to film them. Amy and Glenn step in to break the fight up. A woman waits in line behind mannequins. Mateo starts his usual competitiveness with Jonah and tries to embarrass Jonah in front of Lydia from the dog shelter. At customer service, Dina tells Garrett that he forgot to clock in and won't be paid for his first two hours of work. She won't change the time sheets citing Cloud 9 rules. Cheyenne and Bo talk to Amy and Glenn about the state of their marriage and Cheyenne think the solution is to move the wedding date up. Amy tries to inject reality while Glenn gets on the phone with his church. Lydia gets set to leave and tells Mateo and Jonah that any dogs not adopted will be killed. They decide to put aside their differences to get all the dogs adopted. Cheyenne asks Amy if she regrets the experiences she missed getting married so young. Cheyenne mentions a guy named Cole from school was crazy about her.

Cheyenne describes Cole as mature, sweet, intellectual and giving. Amy encourages Cheyenne to explore her options as Cole sounds great. In the Break Room, Garrett times Dina's lunch break citing company rules. Dina won't go relent on changing the time sheet so she shovels her steaming lunch into her mouth, burning it. At Coffee & Bakery, Glenn hears that Bo and Cheyenne are living in a cramped basement and convinces him to look at some places to live. Jonah and Mateo's first ploy is to hear details of a woman's deceased husband and then convince her that a dog is her husband re-incarnated. Kathy, a realtor from Glenn's church shows Bo and Glenn a two bedroom rental house that seems perfect for a young couple. Bo was hoping for extravagances such as double staircases and shark tanks but decides to rent the house. Kathy asks if Glenn will co-sign the agreement.

Cole comes to the store at Cheyenne's bidding and Amy finds he was Cheyenne's high school teacher. He is middle aged, creepy and tries to dominate Cheyenne. Jonah and Mateo's next ploy is that the dogs worked with celebrities. Garrett stops Dina from using the washroom twice as it's only allowed once per shift. Dina walks away determined to "hold it in". At the house, Glenn is reluctant to co-sign the agreement. A dog watches TV. (♫ En Vogue - Free Your Mind ♫) Cheyenne cozies up to Cole so Amy pulls her away and tries to convince her to stay with Bo. Outside the store, Dina is by a water fountain having a hard time not going to the washroom while Sandra deals with a hornet's nest. Seeing success at the dog adoption, Jonah relates some experiences which Mateo one-ups.

Glenn won't sign the agreement citing his own family's needs. Bo understands but as he tells Glenn all the things his family would have done in the house, Glenn changes his mind and signs. At the store, Cheyenne tells Cole they aren't meant to be together so he insists they are and tries to take her to his car. Bo sees this and starts to fight with Cole resulting in customers filming the fight and Brett cleaning up. Her shift done, Dina tries to go to the bathroom until Garrett points out she needs to make a purchase. Waiting at a check-out, she grimaces in pain and declares her hatred for Garrett. Bo adopts four dogs much to Glenn's concern for the house. Lydia returns to find all the dogs have been adopted and Mateo is still one-upping Jonah. Sandra comes inside to see the dogs and is covered with hornet bites.
